Support Mere Carnival
Mere Carnival needs your support. Last year, with the depleted Committee, it was not considered possible to put on Mere Carnival. This year, with a very small but enthusiastic band of new residents to the town, we intend to give you a Carnival BUT we need your help urgently.

Golden Ticket
Sponsored by Castle Lodge Care Home
Golden Ticket sales will commence at various outlets in the town. 1st prize is £1,000, with 2nd of £500, 3rd and 4th prizes of £250.
Crowning Ceremony
25th July at 2pm (Mere Social Club)
Are you in the running for this year’s Mere Carnival Prince or Princess? Or perhaps you’re vying for the coveted title of Super Granny of Mere?

Carnival Day

A Fun Fair for younger children in Salisbury Street car park
5pm
Stalls and Entertainment in The Square
7pm
The Procession will start from White Road
We are taking bookings for stalls and are also looking for entertainers who would like to perform in The Square.
